Evidence for Chiropractic Care

Chiropractic is becoming an increasingly important part of mainstream healthcare. There has been much research showing how beneficial chiropractic is, both from a patient and an economical viewpoint. The following links give access to some of the current best evidence:

College of Chiropractors
The College is an academic membership organisation that works hard to improve and maintain standards in chiropractic.

Clinical Standards Advisory Group
This group reached the conclusion that manipulation and exercise may help patients with low back pain.

NICE Guidelines
In 2009, NICE issued guidelines advising GPs to offer people with low back pain a course of manual therapy.
